NER is a running training brand and app that challenges the traditional view of performance, tailored to each individual athlete. Beyond metrics or rigid goals, NER places pleasure, personal pace and the runner’s experience at the centre of the run. Inspired by the word Runner, the brand moves away from the idea of a standard athlete. Every body, every stride and every goal is unique, and the app adapts to that individuality while maintaining a constant sense of challenge and continuity.
Visual identity was designed as a flexible system, able to adapt to different pace, contexts and platforms. The graphic language balances strength and lightness, moving away from an overly technical aesthetic and towards a more human and accessible experience. The symbol is built from a simple, structural form. The square represents stability and consistency and, in the digital realm, the pixel as the foundation of the app. From this base, the “N” becomes a modular and adjustable element, reflecting the constant adaptation to each athlete’s rhythm and individuality. Typography is an active part of the identity, with strong, expressive typefaces that function as both information and image. The typographic system and layouts follow a strict grid, ensuring coherence across all brand touchpoints.
The graphic system, built from the symbol, creates patterns that reinforce continuity, connection and a sense of community, accompanying the athlete throughout the journey. NER does not exist only in the digital space. The brand extends into the real world through sporting events and running groups, adapted to different paces and levels. The urban aesthetic refers to asphalt, tracks and the moving city. It does not matter where you run. What matters is running together with NER. Each stage strengthens the connection between athlete, app and community, creating a continuous path. Running is not a day. It is not a race. It’s Never End Rush.
